Bring your household batteries to the farmer's market, Saturday, April 3rd between 9-1 at the farmer's market, or anytime on Saturday inside the nursery.
This includes: household batteries: both alkaline and nickel-cadmium batteries, so that includes non-rechargeables like AAA, AA, C, D, and 9 volt batteries, and rechargeable batteries.
The farmer's market will be holding collections for other difficult to recycle items in the coming months, since those of us who live in the South Salem/Cross River area don't have many choices for recycling these items properly.
