Each month, we honor a venue that is committed to sustainablity.  We are thrilled to hold our next event at the beautiful Atria on the Hudson, the first green senior living community in Westchester County.  Atria on the Hudson has applied for LEED silver certification from the USGBC and they employ an exemplary list of sustainable practices. Their chef is committed to serving food from local and organic ingredients which we will be lucky enough to sample that evening.

Transition Westchester presents: Chris Martenson's Crash Course, Ossining, Nov 3, 10, 17

Transition Westchester presents: The Crash Course which explains how our economy, energy systems and environment face increasing challenges, and explores likely implications for the future. The course is presented in three segments of one to one and half hours.  Each segment is followed by a discussion session.  The last meeting is a final discussion and follow-up session.

Three Wednesdays evenings (3rd, 10th and 17th) in November starting at 7:00 P.M. at the Joseph G. Caputo Community Center, 95 Broadway, Ossining, NY 10562.  A graduation session will be held jointly with the Holiday General Meeting and Potluck on Friday, November 19th.
