Chef Tom Donnelly of o2 Living Foods Cafe  & Master Herbalist and Author Andrea Candee join us at the farmer's market this weekend to teach, chat, and demonstrate their skills. Come on out for samples, and plan your weekend shopping for the freshest, most local foods around!

Andrea Candee is a master herbalist and holistic health counselor with a consultation practice in South Salem, New York, and is well known for her unique and successful approach to reversing chronic Lyme Disease.

He is certified in Science of Raw Food Nutrition at the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Northern California, and is a certified educator in Raw and Live Food Nutrition.

Herbalism for Skin, Kitchawan Farm, Saturday, Aug 21st

COME MEET THE SKIN LOVING HERBS

Come tour the lush and beautiful gardens at Kitchawan Farm with internationally renowned herbalist Catherine Abby Rich. We will focus on meeting the skin loving herbs and delight in a hands-on training in herb gathering and proper herb drying techniques.  WE WILL MAKE A FRESH HERBAL EXTRACTION INTO OIL AND CREATE AN ALL-PURPOSE HEALING SALVE. Take home herbs for drying, jars of healing ointment and the delight of sharing a day of learning more about our precious Earth's bounty.  (We assure you, you will be in good company. This topic attracts the loveliest people.)

SATURDAY, AUGUST 21   9:30AM until 3PM - $100/person - parent with child over 9 years /$150  

-please bring your lunch, a gathering basket, sun hat & protection & note taking equipment -  

-herbal sun tea, water & raw treats will be provided-
