Jacob Burns Film Center presents Focus on Nature: More Than Honey
A poetic film with exquisite macrophotography, More Than Honey takes in-depth look at the breeding behavior of queen bees, the inside of a bee’s brain, and the hair-raising prospects for a hive facing a mite infection. The specter of colony collapse disorder looms over all the apian wonders, as this mysterious global plague threatens the bees with extinction.
