Farm to Table Dinner at Sugar Hill Farm, Bedford Hills, NY

Spend an evening at Sugar Hill Farm, with a guided tour from farmer Doug DeCandia and dinner with him inside the historic home which houses the Westchester Land Trust. A portion of proceeds from this dinner will benefit Westchester Land Trust’s Farmland Match program, ensuring more success stories such as Sugar Hill Farm in the coming year.

Flying Pig Chef Lesley Sutter will be creating her farm-fresh cuisine for all to enjoy, with many of the ingredients coming from Sugar Hill and other nearby farms. Chef Sutter prides herself on serving local ingredients of the freshest and highest quality.

ConsciousWine’s Vinny Liscio will be pairing each course with a unique bottle of wine from Oregon’s Brooks winery. We will be showcasing the 2009 ARA Riesling, the 2011 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir and the 2010 Janus Pinot Noir. Guest will have the opportunity to purchase these wines directly from Brooks during the evening.

Our events invite you to participate in the experience with all your senses. The sights – bucolic farmland; the sounds of nature all around them; touring the crop rows, touching the fruits and vegetables as they grow; the scents of the soil and grass of the fields…all leading to the grand finale, the wine tasting and dinner all made from all natural ingredients and without pesticides or hormones.
