ABOUT THE BOOK
*note* I strongly recommend getting the book before the event so you can really maximize your time with David.

"David Mathison's BE THE MEDIA is a text and bible on how modern methods permit every person and organization to reach an audience that only a few years ago was reserved for the multi-billion dollar media conglomerates. It is a reference for uninhibited and unlimited methods that use print, computers, and the whole spectrum of devices right at hand in almost every community and household. It shows how to spread ideas without the traditional massive presses, major networks and commercial studios."

- Ben H. Bagdikian, Author, The New Media Monopoly; Pulitzer prize-winning journalist; Dean Emeritus, Graduate School of Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley

GreenDrinks Westchester, Tuesday, Jan 26th, Mt. Kisco

GreenDrinks Westchester, Tuesday, January 26th, at The Flying Pig on Lexington, Mt. Kisco. 6-9pm

Come meet local people working in the environmental field and local green activists.

Speaker: Seth Leitman will speak about NYSERDA programs for people to get energy efficienct in their homes.

What is GreenDrinks??
A lively mixture of people from NGOs, academia, government and business. Come along and you'll be made welcome. Just say, "are you green?" and we will look after you and introduce you to whoever is there. It's a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new contacts. Everyone invites someone else along, so there’s always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organising network.

These events are very simple and unstructured, but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity. It's a force for the good and we'd like to help it spread to other cities."
