A Place at the Table: Documentary and Discussion

Neighbor to Neighbor, the non-profit organization which is the food and clothing pantry of Greenwich, is partnering with Greenwich Library to provide a viewing of the award winning documentary “A Place at the Table” which was released March 2013. The film viewing will be followed by a panel discussion and question and answer session on the topic of hunger.
This documentary examines the issue of hunger in the United States by highlighting three Americans that struggle daily with food insecurity. In the U.S. today, 50 million people and a staggering one in four children do not know where their next meal is coming from. This program hopes to educate our community about hunger and the lack of food security in the U.S. and in Greenwich and its surrounding communities in particular.

Program is free and no registration is required.

October 17th
6:30PM - 9:00PM
Greenwich Library: Cole Auditorium
