Art Show Opening at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation: July 27th, Lewisboro

“Habitats: Flora and Fauna in Natural Settings,” 

an exhibition of art by members of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators’ Greater New York Chapter, will hold a reception for the artists and the public at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation on Saturday, July 27, from 2 to 4.













The exhibit showcases the members’ paintings, drawings and mixed media works. Founded at the Smithsonian Institution in 1968, the guild is a nonprofit organization that serves the needs of people either employed or genuinely interested in the field of natural science illustration.

Light refreshments will be served. “Habitats: Flora and Fauna in Natural Settings” will run through Sept. 3.
