Public Forum on Water and Wastewater: Maintaining Quality and Supply
Key Stakeholders and Community Members Gather at the Omega Center for Sustainable Living to Discuss Regional Water Issues

  • This forum is free and open to the public.

The Northern Dutchess Alliance will host a free public forum titled, “Water and Wastewater: Maintaining Quality and Supply” at the award-winning Omega Center for Sustainable Living, (OCSL), a leading-edge environmental educational center and natural water reclamation facility on Omega Institute’s Rhinebeck, NY campus.

An expert panel working in the water and wastewater field, as well as institutions and municipalities dealing with waterrelated issues, will offer varied perspectives. Following the panel presentation, attendees will be able to ask questions and join the important discussion. The forum is intended to foster open public dialogue and to explore creative solutions. Panelists include: Russell Urban-Meade, Sr. Hydrologist, Water Resources, Sustainable Design at the Chazen Companies, Bridget Barclay, Executive Director of Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority, Scott Cuppett, DEC Hudson River Estuary Program, and Skip Backus, Chief Executive Officer at Omega Institute and key innovator behind the creation of the OCSL.
