Sustainable Lighting, Ridgefield Library, Oct 29th

SUSTAINABLE LIGHTING
with LEED certified lighting specialist Sara Schrager
Thursday, October 29th @ 7 pm
in the Dayton Program Room, Ridgefield Library
Co-Sponsored by RACE and the Ridgefield Library

There is a bewildering number of "green" lighting options to choose from these days: linear fluorescent, compact fluorescent, LEDs, halogen, low-voltage halogen, ceramic metal-halide and others. How do you know which are the best choices for your purposes? Come find out from LEED certified lighting professional Sara Schrager, who has more than 30 years of both interior and exterior lighting design experience. She'll discuss the properties of the light each type of bulb gives, the cost and amount of energy they use, how long they last, and their safety.

The program is free and registration is not required. For further information call 438-2282 or visit www.raceforetheearth.com.
