Green Drinks Westchester, Tues, July 17

Ecology Sail, Tues, July 10


Schooner SoundWaters & Westchester Land Trust

During the sail, passengers will have the opportunity to enjoy the Sound and participate in learning stations that highlight the importance of upland conservation on the health of the environment. Participants will sample and test water quality, learn about hypoxia, analyze groundwater filtration, work together to raise the sails, and examine firsthand the rich diversity of life that exists beneath the waves.
 The sail is partially funded by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation in an effort to improve the access of public to Long Island Sound while encouraging stewardship within our communities.

All passengers must be at least 7 years old.  Fee: $20 per person
